Natural disasters…house flooding…sewage backup. Emergency calls come in at any time of the day or night. Regardless of when the phone rings, the bottom line for restoration contractors is the job must get done quickly and efficiently. And when you receive that nighttime emergency call, there’s no time to stumble around in the dark.

This is why Wacker Neuson expanded our lighting products line to include the LB 1 Light Balloon. This light balloon quickly and easily brings glare-free light to the construction site so crews can keep working throughout night and in low light conditions. The portable LB 1 is ideal for general site illumination, fire, flood and indoor illumination.

Wacker Neuson’s newest lighting solution offers a 1000-watt metal halide balloon light, tripod and 120-volt portable ballast creating a powerful and portable lighting package. The balloon’s heavy duty translucent white nylon diffuses light evenly with no glare and reduces shadows and contrast for bright clear light. The upper portion of the balloon is a reflective aluminum coated, durable Kevlar fabric that reflects the light down, maximizing lumen output at ground level.

The rugged light balloon tripod system is easy to set up and take down and offers two anchoring options for added stability; carabineers for tie down and staking through the bottom of the legs. The three-piece stainless steel tripod is height adjustable up to 13.5 feet and is intended for outdoor use.

The LB 1 portable lighting package weighs 93.6 pounds and provides 99,000 lumens (mean) covering over 35,700 sq. ft. area at 1-foot candle. A simple, one step mechanical opening system eliminates noisy fans, and holds its shape in windy conditions.
