When flooding occurs, priority number one for restoration contractors is to quickly remove water from buildings and facilities to minimize business interruptions. The MC5200 provides a 5,200 CFM airflow rate and can handle up to 15,000 square feet at saturation, or up to 170,000 cubic feet of space. A thermostat automatically controls the desired inside temperature, while a second blower extracts the moisture-laden air out of the building. Dryvection™ technology delivers extremely quick drying and eliminates any potential mold or bacteria growth to the building.

“The MC5200 provides the perfect solution for large or time-sensitive restoration projects by being able to shorten drying times,” says Ken Cannella, product manager for Wacker Neuson Climate Technology equipment. “It is a self-contained unit with more onboard power and drying power than any other unit on the market.”

At a relatively light 6,330 pounds with fuel, the Dryvex MC5200 can be towed behind vehicles that can haul up to 1,000 pounds of tongue weight. An adjustable hitch can be set up for either a 2-5/16-inch ball or pintle hook for towing. The drying system’s 7 kW Kubota Dura-Gen liquid-cooled, diesel engine with a 125-gallon diesel fuel tank provides up to 40-48 hours of runtime. The MC5200 also features a vast amount of storage, with 240-cubic-foot interior storage space. All required tools, ductwork, and air movers can be stored easily on-board, making setup a breeze for restoration contractors.

Since March, 2009, the MC5200 has been listed in the Xactimate® estimating system, so quoting the Dryvex™ MC5200’s costs on a restoration project is faster, easier and more accurate than before. This critical estimating tool is the industry standard for 80% of insurance-repair contractors and more than 70% of the top 25 property insurers to calculate the cost of repairs.
