 Naval Base Under Water:
GDR USA uses Dryvex™ Technology to dry flooded buildings at Millington Naval Base
Historic flooding throughout Tennessee ravaged many communities. When floodwaters brought operations at the Millington Naval Base to a grinding halt, Global Disaster Recovery USA felt the pressure to quickly bring things back to normal.
With nearly the all the structures at the base flooded with up to 4 ft (1.2 m) of water, GDR USA relied on the heat generated by the Dryvex™ MC5200 drying system to quickly dry several of the more critical office buildings. By removing more moisture faster, Dryvex™ helped to minimize drying time and get base operations up and running. more |

Dryvex™ Cuts Drying Time by Nearly 50%:
MC 5200 & Cub 200 beat desiccant drying system hands down in Atlanta
Atlanta’s 500-year flood event in September left homes submerged in water for days. Metro DKI relied on all the equipment in its restoration arsenal to quickly dry and restore properties in a lakeside subdivision with million-dollar homes flooded by more than 3 ft of water.
Included in the cache of equipment were both the Wacker Neuson MC 5200 open drying system and a 5,000 CFM desiccant dryer. In the end, desiccant proved to be no match for Dryvex™, as the
MC 5200 dried a larger house in nearly half the time and for less money. more |

Dyvex™ Debuts at Renowned ASD Training Center
The Dryvex™ MC5200 open drying system recently was the featured drying unit at Hydro Lab’s ASD training course in Cicero, Ind. The MC5200 provided the heat and airflow necessary to quickly dry a structure flooded to test and teach advanced drying techniques to restoration contractors. The unit’s concept impressed officials at Hydro Lab’s sister company, Bold Core Response. So much so, they purchased a Wacker Neuson Cub 700 air heater for a large restoration project in Indianapolis. more |
